NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUI SPOKE ABOUT RACISM FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is well known for his spectacular acting on screen, has recently tweeted about the racism he felt in the film industry. Nawaz has never disappointed us with his outstanding acting in the movies like: Gangs of Wasseypur, Raman Raghav 2.0, Manjhi, Raees, Freaky Ali, etc and proved that good looks doesn’t have any role in getting famous.
But the question comes that why this actor has tweeted such thought of Racial Discrimination?
Nawaz wrote on Twitter that, “Thank U for making me realise that I cannot be paired along with the fair and handsome because I am dark and not good looking. But I never focus on that.”
In IIFA 2017, Nawazuddin Siddiqui clarified on stage that the tweet wasn’t for anyone intentionally; it was just a simple thought which he shared.
He cleared everyone’s doubt by saying that, “It was just a thought that I tweeted. It’s not that the entire industry is like that. I have been working here for five years and have been accepted well. Such things are not just restricted to Bollywood. They happen everywhere. Even mothers tell their sons to get a fair bride. I don’t know why and what this concept is but such things do exist and that’s a fact”.
Many celebrities like Nandita Das, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Taapsee Pannu came in his support of Nawazuddin for slamming the film industry for racism.
