DJ Snake Is Dropping His New Album Soon
William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, known by his stage name DJ Snake, surprised his fans on Monday (May 28) when he took to Twitter to announce the release of his new album.
‘New Album on the way’, tweeted the Lean On hitmaker.
It will be interesting to see the kind of reception his new album will receive after his massively successful debut album Encore (2016), which featured collaborations with major names like Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Bipolar Sunshine and Moksi.
He started DJ-ing at age 14 and turned producer at 19. In 2011, he produced Lady Gaga’s album Born This Way. DJ Snake tasted global success when the music video for his song Turn Down for What, featuring Lil Jon, went viral in 2013.
The Parisian DJ, who recently launched his own music label Premiere Classe, topped the Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart this year with his red-hot single Magenta Riddim.
The Grammy-nominated music producer is scheduled to headline the Billboard Hot 100 Festival, this August at Jones Beach (New York), alongside Future, Rae Sremmurd and a ‘yet-to-be-announced’ female artist.
